MRS. JOB." McCULIAJCH. The death occurred on January 10th, 1950, of Mrs. John McCulloch. She was the former Margar- et Allen of Elderslie, but came to live in Soug- een Township, after her marriage to John McCullâ€" och in 1907. Besides her husband, their family of one son, Goldwyn, and four daughters survive â€" Margaret, Mrs. James Wright; Evelyn, Mrs. A. Gregg; Floris, Mrs. Thos. Chisholm; and Christine, hrs. h. Vxelsh. Mrs. McCulloch was active in the "War Efforts“ Club, and later was associated with the South Saugeen Women's Institute. She was a member MRS. CHAS. The community was shocked on Saturday, Sept- ember 2nd, 1950, to learn of the sudden passing in Saugeen Memorial Hospital of Lars. Charles Kelly. Although she had been confined to the hospital for the past three weeks, her conditâ€" ion had been steadily improving, urtil it took a sudden turn on Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Kelly, whose maider name was Amie in. Cairns, was a daughter of the late Lillian Cairns and Christena Meliinr'on, and was born on the 2nd Concession of Saugeer , on August 19th, 1861.. She attended school at S. 5. 3‘5 Saugeen, tort Elgin High School and Toronto Normal School. She taught school for a number of years, and on April 2nd, l9l9, she was unâ€" ited in marriage to Charles helly of the town- line, Bruce and fiaugeer, where they have re- sided ever since. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter (Isobel), hrs. James E. Bell, Lids. Throughout her life, Mrs. belly took a very active part in community life, in Red Cross during both '..orld Wars, in the nomen's Institute, St. Andrew's Lnited Church V-. A. 5., and Sunday School, where she had been a teacher right up until the last. The funeral was held on Tuesday, with a private service at the home at 2.00 o'clock, and service at St. Andrew‘s united Church at 2.30. The minister, Rev. 3". H. L'artin was in charge of the service. A comforting message in song was brought by Mrs. Stanley :tibey singing "Good l'ight".
