There was a cooper shop where many barrels were mace, down near the road where the creel; crosses the road from the Bruce sioe, also there was a saw mill on this property. Both men were Members of Parlia- ment in Alberta, some years later. He also had four daughters, Catherine, Mrs. Charlie Mclnnes, Mary Ann, Margaret and Sarah. Peter McArthur died May 5, 1881, leaving this property to his wife, Mary, until her death on February 3rd, 1895, arm then it want to his son, John, who had it in his possession until his death, although he did not reside there. Connelly took the logs out of the bush; he never lived on the property, he had it rented to George Leslie. on october 15th, l9bb, Harold Donnelly sold this property to laelvin n. Leslie, how of Port Elgin, and a. son of Georze Leslie. Kelvin Leslie sold the property to Mr. arthur Campbell, WHO was a greut nephew of the original owner, Peter Licnrthur, on may 19, l9h7. arthur Campbell never lived there, he used it for pasturing cattle and grain growirg. after the death of Arthur Camp- bell in Ibvenber 1952, the property went to his wife, Liar; L.
