He, doubtless, was the owner of Henry's mill and dam in pioneer days. In 1871+, John Banting sold to Peter ‘x'câ€" Gillivray, who, in 1850 transferred it to his sor, Archie Lichillivray. In 1883, the farm was sold to Alex. The first house, a. frame structure, was built by nrcnie :.1cGillivray in 1860 â€" 1883. This house was burned in 1916, and in 1917 Charles Kelly built the present dwelling, which is solid brick, measuring 28' x 31". It is not known who built the first barn, but Charles kelly remodelled it in 1915, making it 56' x 65'. Charles relly married. Annie Cairrs, a daughter of ,.;r. are hrs.
