, vx'u’i THE SOUTH LINE METHODIST CHURCH About the year I860 a Methodist Church was built on'the South Line. It stood on the corner of Andrew Kirstine's farm. Among the first‘ trustees were â€"â€" Alexander Kerr, Ed. Hickling,-Thos. Traynor, Thos. Hickling and George Buck. This church was affiliated with the Hanover Methodist Church and was supplied each Sunday by either the Minister or n Theology student from Hanover. It was the only church in the come munity and was largely attended by the residents of the South Line and also of Garrick. Some of the Ministers who served this church were Rev's Hutchinson, Cross, Bristol, Irwin, Matthewa, Perry, Green, Burwash, Potter, Edge, and Galloway. Some of the students Wereâ€"â€"â€"Messrs. Isaac, Reid, Conron, W.F.Wilson, F.W.Crowle, J.C.Speer,and Caldwell. The Mildmay Church took Dyer this church in I897. It was finally move sole to Bss sie Kirstine and'to his farm across the road.
