I 1 Up to date donations have been given to the Blind, Cancer Fund, Red Shield, Childrens Aid Society, Mental Health, Unitarian Service, Arnprior, Renfrew, and Barry's Bay Hospitals. In l9b9 the 10th Anniversary of the Branch was celebrated in Lochwinnoch Church. Mrs. Alex Johnston of Castleford, the only charter member present of the original Institute formed in 1913, spoke briefly and cut the birthday cave. Hrs. J. E. Miller of Goshen and the late Mrs. W. Galbraith of Renfrew, who erranized this branch in 1939, were honored quests as well is the District President. Mrs. John Henderson of Bonnechere Vallev. In August. 1960, this branch entertained five other branches, Dewars, Goshen, Glasgow. Castleford and North Horton, also the District President, Mrs. Scheel. at a meeting held in LochWinnoch Church Hall. After a short orogram, Mrs. N. E. Lindsay of Renfrew showed slides and gave a commentary on a trip to Britain and the Continent. One of our members, Mrs. R. M. McGregor brought distinctive honour to our Institute by servin' as District Freeident for a. period of three years.
