Lisburn Women‘s Institute Lisburn Women‘s Institute was organized October 16. 1957 at the home of Mrs. Howare (Gwen) Harrison. Mrs. Macl-(ellar . Board Representative chaired the meeting and Mrs.Cecil Hollands. Bruce South Women‘s Institute District acted as Secretary until an Executive was chosen. Mrs. Donald McCosh, Past President of Bruce South Women’s Institute District welcomed the ladies and presented notebooks for the Convenors to record their programmes. Mrs. Harvey Houston. First Vice President spoke and presented each lady with the Federated Women‘s institute of Ontario brochure. Twenty-four ladies joined that evening. Another [3 ladies joined in November 1957.
