Glasgow Women's Institute - Book 2 Harold and Norman Lavallee (1968) LOT 21 E 1/2 CON. 6 First owner was James Campbell, who had a saw-mill on the Locha Greek. Next owner was Charles Graham, who farmed and also was employed with McLachIin Bros, of Arnprior. Two of his sons were book keepers for them and another an agent for their lumber camps. After Mr. Graham’s death the family moved to Arnprior. The farm was then purchased by Robert Lavallee who with his wife Mary Carey, spent the remainder of their lives on this farm. They had a family of three boys and two girls. They built a new house, making all the cement blocks for the construction themselves. The eldest son Gordon kept different kinds of fur bearing animals, for commercial re- turns, but gave this up and took over the Rosebank Inn in Admaston Twp. lll health compelled him to discontinue this too.
