Glasgow Women's Institute Book 1 Dedication Church Supper On Monday evening, the day following the Opening and‘ Dedication services, a Church Supper was put on by the ladies of Glasgow United Church In the basement of the new building. In spite of Inclement weather there was a splendid number who attended and enjoyed the very sumptuous meal provided. Later a bazaar was held in the Community Hall nearby, followed by a program. The latter commenced about eight o'clock, with the hall filled to capacity. Those who asâ€" sisted in the 'program were Mrs. A. Jahn and Mr. Walter Runtz who gave several in- strumental duets with piano and guitar; Mr. Archie Murphy who sang two solos; ac- companied on the .piano by Mr. W. G. Thomas of Arnprior; and Mr. Jack Campbell of Admaston who sang a number of baritone selections with accompaniment by Miss Margaret Gibbons. Mr. Campbell also brought greetings from the Admaston congreâ€" gation. ; Brief addresses with greetings were given by two visiting clergymen; (Rev. Alexander Mills J of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Arnprior and Rev. C. Vias of the neighboring Presbyterian Church of Loch Vlfinnoch. Rev. R. G. Newman, acting as chairman, thanked all who helped to make the eve- ning a success. with special reference to those who assisted on the program.
