Glasgow Women's Institute Book 1 Dedication Church Supper On Monday evening, the day following the Opening and‘ Dedication services, a Church Supper was put on by the ladies of Glasgow United Church In the basement of the new building. In spite of Inclement weather there was a splendid number who attended and enjoyed the very sumptuous meal provided. Later a bazaar was held in the Community Hall nearby, followed by a program. The latter commenced about eight o'clock, with the hall filled to capacity. Those who asâ€" sisted in the 'program were Mrs. A. Jahn and Mr. Walter Runtz who gave several in- strumental duets with piano and guitar; Mr. Archie Murphy who sang two solos; ac- companied on the .piano by Mr. W. G. Thomas of Arnprior; and Mr. Jack Campbell of Admaston who sang a number of baritone selections with accompaniment by Miss Margaret Gibbons. Mr. Campbell also brought greetings from the Admaston congreâ€" gation. ; Brief addresses with greetings were given by two visiting clergymen; (Rev. Alexander Mills J of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Arnprior and Rev. C. Vias of the neighboring Presbyterian Church of Loch Vlï¬nnoch. Rev. R. G. Newman, acting as chairman, thanked all who helped to make the eve- ning a success. with special reference to those who assisted on the program.
