Glasgow Women's Institute Book 1 Among other business that was discussed, and it was proposed that an attempt be made to hire cars to take a number of the members to the convention, which will be held in Ottawa on October 22-24. The branch directors were named as a committee to work with the secretary in mailing the necessary arrangement; namely Mrs. K. Gillan. Mrs. E. Thomas and Mrs. J. A. Young. It was also decided to continue with plans for having a demonstration at the next meetâ€" ing, in charge of the committee on public relations and community activities, with Mrs. J. Russett. A guessing contest for a mystery prize, contributed by Mrs. G. Kewley. was won by Mrs. Arthur Storie, and a picture song contest, in charge of Mrs. Reid Carswell, was won by Mrs. M. Stewart and Mrs. G. Eady. Refreshments and a pleasant . hall hour closed a delightful meeting, and. on behalf of the guests, Mrs. Leonard Lindsay, : secretary of Lochwinnoch W.l., hostesses with warm appreciation of their hospitality.
