Niagara ALL OVER THE MAP Amalgamation has been a hot topic for discussion among members of the WI in Wellington County the past yeari The amalgamation of Guelph and Eramosa Townships inspired local playwright Dale Hamilton to write a collaborative community play entitled "All Over the Map." Residents of both Townships were invited to take part. In fact, Hamilton insisted that the five WI Branches - West End. Speedside, Riverside, Masbamugh and Pansanby A be involved since they are so much a part of the fabric of the Townships The cast representing members of a wedding party symbolized the marriage of the two Townships. On each of four different days, the wedding party toured the Townships being shown various landmarks; at the end of the day a mock wedding took place at the Rockwood Conservation area. Each day, a comfort break was taken at Guelph Township Park. The community players were led to the front verandah of the FWIO Provincial Office, Representatives from each of the five Branches told the players about the achievements of the Women 's institute.
