At the Nelson WI Christmas Lunch, 3 large sum of money and a basket of "on-PeriShable food was gathered and donated to the Burlington .Salvation Army. Athlone WI members and their husbands were invitedby Robert and Winnie Trachxei of favistork to tour their newly built 107 free-stall dairy barn Yhose members who used to farm were impressed by the efficiency of today’s dairy operations. The form was in response to a request from Lynn Myers, MP for WaterlooAWellington. Myers, who chaired a committee on health priorities. asked for input from WI members. Eighty Branthes in Waterloo, Wellington, Halton, Huron and Perth Districts responded. Myers stated, "This kind of response is truly remark- able," And. he added, "I am very impressed by the comments. observations. suggestions and recommendations.
