Guidelines i) The Home & Country welcomes arti- cles or suggestions for articles on the following topics: ‘selfâ€"help’ or ‘howâ€"to‘ articles proï¬les of WI members current information on nutrition. health, safety, consumer facts, or other topics promoting good family life skills “good news" stories from the Branches. Districts or Areas on specific commu- nity projects or events (ic. success stories - craft shows. plowing match involvements, fashion shows, etc.) lOOth anniversary celebration reports and photographs only letters to the editor provincial scholarship winner profiles (WI members only) upvtoâ€"date information on community issues ii) Bearing in mind the Home & Country is only 16 pages, it is not possible to print articles received on the follow- ing topics of a more local nature: District Annual and Area Convention reports and photographs anniversary celebration reports and photographs (with the exception of 100th anniversaries) tributes to deceased members (with the exception of provincial presidents) minutes of Branch meetings advertisements of WI Branch, District and Area events Branch histories newspaper clippings of meetings iii) We also welcome photos. Muluske, former FWIO President from 1975 to 1977. passed away on February 121 1999. As an active and dedicated member of the Women's Institute, her church and commu- nity, Verna touched the lives of many people. Among her countless achievements, she re« ceived the Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal in 1977. .
