Vittoria WI Member Receives Volunteer Award Eva Swing recently received the Ontario Volunteer Service Award from the province for more than 30 years of volunteer work. Eva has been aWI member for 44 years. serving two terms as President and I8 years as Secretary. Eva has been involved in many other community organizations for many years: she is a Life Member of the Vittoria Chapter ofthe Order of the Eastern Star. having received her 50 year pin; she has been a member of the Vittoria Baptist Church for more than 50 years and Secretary~Treasurer ofthe Vittoria Baptist WA since I970; and. since I959. Eva has been a mem- ber of the Rebekah Lodge. serving as Secretary for 25 years For many years, Eva has also cum- paigned for the Canadian Cancer Society, the March of Dimes and the United Way. Eva was the Vittoria Cor- respondent for the Simme Reformer and the Branlford Expasilor. And for several years. she was Secretary for the Police Village of Vittoria and the Trustees of the local Public School Board.
