House. This recognition board, consisting of carved walnut plaques with black backing and gold, silver and bronze detailing, is a culmination of the lundraising program instituted by FWIO in 1999 in regards to the Lee. There are three donor categories: Bronze - $500to $999. Silver - $1.000 to $4,999 and Gold - $5,000 plus. The donor board hangs beside the Women's Institute pic- ture gallery, linking the earliest contributions to the WI to today’s major sponsors, Current Gold level sponsors include the Ontario Trillium Foun- dation, the Hamilton Community Foundation and June Williams. who ielt the Lee Home a major bequest in 2000. This new donor recognition program does not replace the Memorial Fund donation program. The Memorial Fund still recognizes smaller do~ nations to the Home in a Memorial Book in the dining room. The weather was perfect to welcome the visitors to the beautiful town of Paris. Brunch President Karen Wismer and Past President Marsha Edgar were the tour guides for the day. Visitors were treated to a tour of n typical Ontario farm house. Circa 1915, where they were wel- comed by Harold and Mary Ellen Edgar as well as the oldest Whitemun's Creek member Maude Kirkpatrick.
