This fall. the door to the Drive House had to be repaired. As revealed in the photo, the rotting wood was replaced with new wood and then the old boards were put back in place, helping to preserve the historic facade as required by the building's Ontario Heritage Act designation. The repairs will be painted a shade of red to match the existing paint. We encourage everyone to visit this National Historic Site to see where your contributions are being spent. We have many interesting annual events at the Museum, including the Pancake Breakfast each spring, which will be held on Saturday, April 2 in 2005. Do come ioin us!
