Perhaps we need a different approach. The committee and I will choose a couple of resolutions and try to present them in a positive light and hopefully get some action. Your help is deï¬nitely needed for the collection of any background information, which will give us a strong position. We need more than just a supporting statement. Magazine or newspaper articles and true experiences will help to reinforce our resolutions. Don't forget!! You must ï¬ll in the form on page 8 of your Advocacy Manual â€" be sure to include your name, address, phone number or email address so I can contact you. I have received many resolutions with no contact information, which sends me to the Provincial Ofï¬ce to ï¬nd out where you live. was pleased to respond to Newington Cedar Brae WI to inform them l hat the Government has lightened up on the community catering i regulations. I thanked the Minister for his common sense approach to such an important issue in urban and rural communities. The greatest impact on the issues affecting your community is action from local residents. A letter writing campaign â€" directed to the rig ht people â€" can be very effective.
