October 28, 2006 Murder Mystery Dinner: the Grapes of Frath Join our volunteer troupe for a repeat performance of "the Grapes of Frath", a Winona murder mystery. Dinner is served in the museum carriage house (which for one night is the dining room of the famous Winona Park Hotel) whilst a murder is going on in the grand suite ofthe hotel (the museum main building). Guests will be escorted to the crime scene by the detective, followed by a line-up of the suspects, including the debutante, the opera star, the winery owner, and more. Reservations for dinner are now being accepted. Prepayment for tickets is required (cash, cheque, or VISA). 6:00 pm. $30.00 includes dinner and non-alcoholic beverages. Cash bar available. Limit: 35 guests. November 5- Dec 3, 2006 The Erland Lee Museum's 14th Annual Local Art Show (and Sale) For one month, come and see a variety of original oils, watercolours, acrylics, pastels, sculptures, and photos from many local artists, on display in the museum's 1873 carriage house. Pick up that unique Christmas gift. The art hangs for a whole month and must be offered for sale. This is a non-juried show. It is designed to help showcase undiscovered talent in our community.
