All the materials that you have sent us are indispensable for our women. We hope that you will continue remembering us by sending more supplies.” Lucy Daniels of the Guyana Federation of Women's Institutes says: "We are indeed thankful for all the craft items we receive from the various Institutes. The supplies are very useful to us and we have already had a sale of articles made. Please convey our heartfelt thanks to all the members. We would be happy to receive some crochet thread and raffia straw." Dr. Lucille Buchanan, Chair of the Jamaican Federation of Women says: "We are starting up a new training project for our women and girls and these beautiful books and patterns came in in good time." Many branches have received notes of thanks and photographs. Some WI branches have continued to correspond with various groups in the Caribbean Area, after making initial contact with a parcel or packet. Other branches have written articles in local newspapers about this project, and it has become a community outreach project. The FWlOâ€"Caribbean Area crafts project will continue, as long as there is need and interest. The following groups are no longer functioning members of the SVG Federation of Women’s Institutes.
