IOBVWELI. DONEl Big Lake WI . . r . _ Big Lake WI Members started a great program this year called "Purses with a Purpose”. Members donated a gently used purse or handbag and then spent months collecting personal hygiene items for women who arrive at the local women’s shelter, Haven House. As women come into the shelter they receive their personal items in the purse. The group donated sixteen purses and is considering making it an annual event. WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE iN AGRICULTURE AWARD ATTENTION Do you know someone who has contributed to excellence in agriculture at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair? There are many deserving women involved and FWIO will recognize one special woman this fall. The prestigious award is open to all women, currently or previously involved in agriculture at the Royal.
