Many Hands to Help Many hands make light work, but today we needed quantity. Beamsville Wl (Lincoln District) held their ï¬rst Craft Day on February 19th at the Gathering Place, Trinity United Church it was open to the public. The response was wonderful and several ladies came out to help make crafts of Teddy bags, socks, dishcloths, stuffed toys, hats and much more. All these items will go to the Canadian Comforts, which help children in less fortunate countries. Pictured here are from left to right: Agnes Hilberg (WI Member), Edith Mclean (volunteer), Margaret Romagnoli (WI Member) Bea Newton (volunteer), Lynne Johnston (volunteer) and Sylvia House (WI Member). All the ladies enjoyed creating these crafts and had a greattime while getting to know the WI members. We would like to thank the volunteers for all their help and the young lady who donated three bags full of yarn.
