In Fertruary. responding to Women's Institute month. the brancha placed attractive and informative displays in store windows throughout the district. At the end of February a workshop for executives was held in Burgoyné and a day-long program for members of the community. called A Day for You. was held in Mareh in Undmuood. MIDDLE“ WOMEN FOR THE ' SUPPORT OF AGRICULTURE Turn Your Skills Into Dollars was the name of a winter program pre. sented by Middleaex WSA. Designed to help the individual who has been exploring the idea of alternate methods of financial and personal gain. the program included a panel discussion and guest speakers. Parti- cipants went through a self- aueument of their strengths and learned how those strengths can be applied to a new career. Resume writin' and interviewing were also covered. and the owner/operator of a flower shop in Thamesl'ord spoke to the participants about setting up your own business. GARNET WI. HALDIMAND WEST Over the last few months. Garnet members have been involved in a variety of programs.
