Branch News 0 HALDIMAND WEST District W.I. â€" sponsored a quilt show and a Tweedsmuir History Display at the Kohler Agricultu» ral Centre. Canada Packers featured 11 of their 14 quilts. Each of the 12 branches had a quilt display and a Tweedsmuir History on exhibit. Proceeds went to the West Haldimand General Hospital. - WASHAGO W.I. â€" presented an Arts and Craft Show to dis- play the talents of local artists and craftspeople as well as adver- tise the accomplishments of members. The display included an original record book (June 1920), branch crest, Tweedsmuir Book, Scrap- book, pictures of charter mem- bers. a 4-H poster and awards, Home & Country magazines, and ACWW booklets, as well as a handmade quilt. In 1927, the branch raised enough money to buy a wheelchair for a member of the community who was a polio victim.
