A Glance At The Branches COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT STILL NEEDED Back in 1897 Mrs. Hoodless was concerned about the health of the family. 80 years later the members of Mosa Womens institute in Middlesex West District are carrying on that same tradition of caring and meeting the needs of people in the community. Responding to a need. for a $500.00 hydraulic ad- justable examination chair for the ophthalmology de- partment at the local Four Counties General Hospital the members of Mosa decided to raise money for this purpose. During the past two years the members have had fund raising drives through bake sales, bazaars and st.th ol'quilts. As well as the drive for special funds. the members donate gifts each year to the children hospi- tali/ed at Christmas. Hospital Administrator Mr. A. Muisch stated “that these types otcontributions are what makes a success- ful small hospital able to function well. it is through the ciliorts of volunteer groups that much specialized equipment was paid for."
