Stone, Sunderland, added that extra touch of musical leadership. Mr. Newman was attending a Conference and unable to be present. Miss Molly McGhee. Director Home Economics Branch was unable to attend. She was on vacation, however. she expressed regrets in a letter and wished the Women's Institutes great success in their future ac- tivities. Regrets were read by the FWIO Secretary Treas- urer Mrs. Earl Morden. from Mrs. J. R. Futcher, Mrs. R. G. Purcell, Mrs. Graham Spry, Mrs. Guy Skinner. Mrs. Della Fletcher, Dr. Janet Wardlaw. and good wishes from various societies in Great Britain. Margaret Woof Supervisor of Junior Extension extended greetings on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Home Economics Branch, Home Eco- nomics and Women’s institute have mutually bene- ï¬ted through their long association. The Branch has prepared programmes and thousands of Women’s In- stitute members and 4-H girls have participated. On this the SOth, it really is a time to celebrate, visit old friends, reflect past achievements on ideas developed by Mrs. Hoodless. It is a time to reflect on the leadâ€" ership of Past Presidents and Executives down through to Branch level. Joseph Bielish, Alberta, President of FWIC, paid tribute to Adelaide Hoodless and the founding members. Because of an idea an organization was formed which was to extend beyond Ontario into all Provinces and around the world.
