Two new branches formed in l974 were at Lucknow and North Grey in Owen Sound. it appears from reports. that all JWlO had well organized and informative regular monthly meetings. as well as having one branch project to raise funds. The Spring Meeting was held in April. hosted by the Wainfieet branch in the Niagara District. The Fall conference was at Sheffield in the Scott‘s Corner W.l. Hall. A speaker from CUSO spoke and showed slides on his work and experiences while in Africa. During the noon banquet the JWIO were pleased to honour Dr. Ethel Chapman as Honorary President and Miss Jean Scott as Honorary Member. In the afternoon a trip was taken to the African Lion Safari and Game Farm at Rockton. The Provincial project. the printing ot‘tt booklet “A Little Bit of Everything“ goes into its third printing.
