Ontario Dear Institute Members: A sense of pride in OWnership was renewed when I opened a letter from a Women’s Instiâ€" tute member from Rhodesia who stated, “what an opportunity your members have in Ontario to hold the deed to the lovely Erland Lee Home and more important, own the table on which the original Constitution was hand written." How do you feel about our “Home”? It is certainly an achievement in which We all have played a part. It is not over; there are so many things to do before spring. The Committee has done a great deal of exploration and evaluating of the best methods for use of the Home. Our aim is to have some of the rooms furnished in the period of 1850 and still use a couple of the rooms for Special displays which would be changed from time to time. Above everything, we are hopeful that this house will be functional as well. Not only will you have an opportunity to visit and reminisce about the past but especially to become more aware of the present. From time to time we expect to have mem- bers involved in quilting. weaving. needleeraft etc. Would you like to have an opportunity to see a prize winning Tweedsmuir book or perâ€" haps the Provincial Tweedsmuir book?
