The P reside nt reported that accomâ€" plishments during the past year were the com- pletion of the 75 Anniversary project raising $50,000 for the expansion fund for Macdon~ ald Institute, the complete revision of the Handbook; the attainment of the $40,000, the purchase price for the Erland Lee Homestead. etc. These, Mrs. Zoeller said were only pos- sible in her presidential term because of the excellent “working together" of all Ontario Women’s Institute people. She expressed spe- cial appreciation to the F.W.I.O. Executive and Board Directors for their co-Operation and assistance at all times. Secretary Treasurer-’5 Report Mrs. William G. Miller reported the follow- ing: 1,318 Ontario branches, with 31,031 members including 2,475 branch lite mem- bers: office mailings. 2,419 letters, 2,811 re- ceipts and parcels, etc.; 1.074 parcels of Womâ€" en‘s Institute supplies. Large amounts of mail for F.W.I.O. were also sent out through the courtesy of the Home Economics Branch of the Ontario Department of Agriculture and Food. WINTER 'l 972 The Secretary Treasurer reported attending committee meetings. dealing with investments as directed. attending the A.C.VV.VV. Oslo Conference as a F.W.I,O. voting delegate. and serving as a speaker for an Educational Fo- rum. The Federated Women’s Institutes of Canada Mrs. Zoeller as Senior Director of F.W.I.C‘. representing Ontario. expressed appreciation to the Provincial Convencrs for their efforts to coâ€"ortlinate the work ol‘ the National and In- ternational Standing Committee Convcncrs, thus giving more efficient direction for the work of the Branch Convcncrs. Regulations for the National Competitions for the Trienium ending with the 1973 F.W.I.C. Convention in Banff. Alberta were reviewed. The Citizenship Project is for a set of twenty slides with a taped commentary depictâ€" ing women in action in the community. The Handicraft Competition is for a Mac- rame Tote Bag. Mrs. Zoeller pointed out that the complete regulations had been sent to each branch secâ€" retary and urged that the members prepare en- tries for these competitions.
