District Secretary Treasurer and Mrs. R. C. Moffatt. Provincial Board Director for Subdivision 12 assisted Mrs. Scott. There are 58 charter members of this Ponsonby branch. The idea for this new branch came out of the fact that there were two 4-H Homemaking Clubs in the Ponsonby Area. neither of them sponsored by a Women's Institute, Some inter- ested women began to make inquiries among local residents and the result was the Ponsonby branch.
