Constitution Committee Report The Board Directors were given an opportuâ€" nity to read and study a draft of the new Hand Book. as prepared by the Constitution Com- mittee. The entire Constitution was reviewed and the Committee‘s recommendations accept- ed. The draft copy was approved by the Board and authority granted the Constitution Com- mittee to proceed with the completion of the Hand Book. When the Hand Book is printed. the Constitution Committee will be dismissed. When available, one Hand Book per Branch member will be sent to the Women’s Institute Branch Secretary-Treasurers and additional copies will be available upon request. 75th Anniversary Plans Mrs. Austin S. Zoeller presented a report of plans for celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the first Women’s Institute. She expressed ap- preciation for ideas which had been submitted to the Committee stressing interest and enthu- siasm for local Branch involvement during the Anniversary month and encouraged celebra- tion plans for District Annual and Area partic- ipation. The official Provincial celebration will be on February 12, 1972. with a luncheon at the Caâ€" nadian Room in the Royal York Hotel, Toron- to. The total accommodation will be 1200 - 1400 people. One member from a Branch will be allowed to purchase a ticket. Travelling will be at her own expense. After all branches have had an opportunity to purchase a ticket, those remaining will be sold on a firstâ€"come first- serve basis. Plans are not final but an invita- tion has been extended to the next President of The Associated Country Women of the World, who will be elected at the A.C.W.W. Confer- ence in Oslo, to be the guest speaker.
