This resolution was returned to the North Central Area with the suggestion that they direct it to local authorities; A request that the Provincial Government proclaim one week a year “Tomato Weekâ€; A request for the establishment of a simple emergency telephone number. It was pointed out that such a system would be costly and that it is a simple operation to dial the opera- tor.
