Ontario Federation of Agriculture Workshop Mrs. Lowell Eller, Federated Women‘s Insti- tutes of Ontario representative to the Federa- tion of Agriculture, attended this workshop at her own expense because she was so interested. Delegates from all over Ontario were mainly concerned about the establishment of one farm organization. Mr. Malcolm Davidson was named chairman of committee to set up a votâ€" ing campaign and Mr. Charles Munro, Presi- dent of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture. urged Co-operation as farmers not as a farm group. Hospitality As chairman of the Hospitality Committee, Mrs. John Charlton has had correspondence with three different people in England since the Annual Board Meeting. One visited Toron- to and Niagara Falls and was entertained in the Adelaide Hoodless Home area where she attended and spoke at a Branch Women's In- stitute meeting. The other two ladies propose coming in the near future. Lee Home Committee Reports Mrs. Russell Wise, Chairman of the Comâ€" mittee appointed by the Federated Women‘s Institutes of Ontario to explore the possibility of the Erland Lee Home being preserved for its historic value. reported on the progress of this committee since the Annual Board Meetâ€" ing. After negotiations, the Federated Women’s Institutes of Ontario has been accepted as a charitable organization for the Erland Lee pro- ject only, and has been allotted a number to be used to assure that all donations are deductible for income tax purposes. Although some years have clasped since this committee commenced its work. and Mr. Frank Lee, son of the coâ€"founder of the Womâ€" en‘s Institute, has since died, the property is still available for the original price of $40.- 000.00. The property consists of 2.9 acres on which is situated the homestead â€" part of which was built in the 18111 century. The wal- nut dining room table on which the Women's Institute constitution was signed is in the homestead. There is also another smaller house on the property.
