Learning To Live The Twelfth Triennial Conference of the Associated Country Women of the World took place from September 3â€"14 at Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. U.S.A. The theme of the conference was “Learning to Live” and was covered under four main headings â€" the individual, the family, the community, and the world. These topics were dealt with in educational forums which took place simultaneously on four days with out- standing keynote speakers and group discus- sions. Amang the speakers were Miss Helen McKercher. Director of the Home Economics Branch of the Ontario Department of Agriculâ€" ture and Food; Dr. Margaret McCready. of the University of Guelph; and Dr. Helen Abell, of the University of Waterloo. FALL 1965 Hostess for the conference was the Country Women's Council of the United States of America. whose chairman is Mrs. Homer Greene of Tutwiler, Mississippi. Women’s groups in the United States that are constituent societies of A.C.W.W. are American Farm Bu- reau Women. National Extension Homemak- er‘s CounciL National Master Farm Homeâ€" maker’s Guild and Women's National Farm and Garden Association Inc. These American women's organizations also assisted in arrange- ments for the conference and in entertaining the delegates.
