Young Honored OMEN'S Institute members in their Rt gatherings at the Ontario Agricultural College have appreciated Padre W. A. Young as a song leader, a speaker and a public relations oflicer. Many have had him as a guest speaker in their own communities. So they will be happy to hear that on May first of this year he was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity from his Alma Mater. Knox College. University of Toronto. As Chaplain at the O.A.C., each Sunday Padre Young conducts a non-denominational Church Service for the students, a popular part of student life at the College. As student coun- sellor he advises students on their personal and academic problems. His feature column, “Religion and Life" in The Farmer’s Advocate has a wide following. And another considera- tion that led to the conferring of the degree was Dr. Young‘s development of the School for Rural Clergy held annually at the College.
