In recent years many Women’s Institute members have shown increasing interest in these children whose lower I.Q. results in disappointing failures and slower progress through school. Perhaps some branches will be moved to establish a bursary to encourage more teachers to take the special training. Perhaps some will help through contributions to the Stothers Exceptional Child Foundation. For further information contact Dr. C. E. Stothers, 46 Great Oak Drive, Toronto 13. The Royal Winter Fair The Royal Winter Fair Booth convened by Mrs. Charles Agnew, attracted a great deal of attention this year.
