Silver-Wood WI Presents New Award Doris Calder presents the new ‘Ben Case Award’ to Matthew Williamson at the Halton 4-H Awards Night in November 2013. This new award is sponsored by the Silver-Wood WI (Guelph Area) to recognize a 4-H member who demonstrates a positive, JOB WELL DONE! and strives to be the best they can be. Ben Case, a long-time resident of the Silvercreek and Wildwood communities, was a loyal supporter and friend of the Silver-Wood WI for many years. Upon his death, Ben left a bequest to the Branch and it was decided a 4-H award in his memory would be a ï¬tting tribute to Silver-Wood’s only honourary male member.
