Hawkestone WI The women of Hawkestone WI (Simcoe Area) are making bags for women’s shelters in Orillia. Each bag includes items like pyjamas, socks, slippers, underwear, hair clips, toothpaste, crayons, a colouring book, a stuffed toy and more. The bags are made out of a nice coloured material and are about half the size of a pillow case. No one else in the area does this and the feedback from the shelter has been wonderful â€" the recipients are very happy they get to take the bags with them when they are ready to move on. Victoria ll WI Members of Victoria || WI (Kingston Area) made a donation to the Digital Diagnostic Imaging Campaign at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital. The money was raised bythe 12 Members who gave $1 a week for 30 weeks beginning last fall.
