Oxford District Saturday March 28th was the Erland Lee Museum‘s Annual Pancake Breakfast and Spring kickâ€"off. This event celebrates nature‘s first signs of Spring, maple syrup season. Breakfast included sausages, allâ€"youâ€"canâ€"eat pancakes and local maple syrup served warm. Luckily the rain clouds held off and we had a wonderful and sunny day for the event. The Erland Lee Museum Committee prepared breakfast forover 140 people with the local Battlefield Optimists on hand to cook the sausages. Thanks to dedicated local and Women‘s Institutes volunteers this was a very successful fundraiser.
