Lorne Sutherland WI Supports Local Hospital The Members of Lorne Sutherland WI (Eastern Area) have made a $2,000 donation to the Arnprior District Hospital’s Partners in Caring Foundation for its digital mammography equipment. Norfolk District Donate Gifts That Make a Difference Stuffed animals, lap robes and quilts were again gathered and donated by Members of the Norfolk District WI (Hamilton Area) at their annual meeting in Langton on April 29th. Many of these are handmade and are donated annually to several local agencies who distribute them to children and adults. Representatives spoke on the value of these gifts and they will go to local nursing homes, the hospital, the Children‘s Aid, the Women‘s Shelter and to the police for accident victims. The 8 Branches in Norfolk had also gathered $1,220.13 throughout the year, which will be sent to ACWW to assist women in third world countries.
