Frontenac District Frontenac District President Jane Adamson (L) presented Glenda Joyce (R) with the "Woman of Excellence Fair Award” last fall. For over 20 years, Glenda volunteered with the Kingston and District Agricultural Society, chairing many committees. She was instrumental in including the Women’s Institute Tea Room as an annual exhibit at the Kingston Fall Fair. In 1979, Glenda was elected the first female President of the Fair in the history of the Agricultural Society, a position she held for 2 years. She received the Agricultural Service Diploma from the Fair Board in 1980. Glenda has been a Member ofGlenburnie W! for over 45 years, and is now a Life Member. Over the years, she has served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the Branch. Congratulations, Glenda! Elgin County District Congratulations to Grace Campbell (L) and Nancy McGregor (R) who were both recipients of the "Woman of Excellence Fair Award.” Grace Campbell has been an active participant with the Wallacetown Agricultural Society for 45 years, particularly the Women’s Division of Home Crafts and Culinary Arts. She has served as a judge, a Fair Board Director, and has helped to create displays. Grace has been a 4â€"H club leader and a Member of Cowal W! for 50 years! Nancy McGregor has been an avid exhibitor and contributorfor the Rodney-Aldborough Agricultural Society for many years, winning several titles as culinary champion. She is secretary for the society and has spearheaded many fundraisers. Nancy has been a Member of Crinan W! for over 20 years. Hampstead WI Congratulations to (Lâ€"R) Virginia Sherlock, Mabel Siegner and Celine Kollmer of Hampstead WI (Guelph Area). These ladies were each presented with a Certificate of Merit in recognition oftheir contributions to their Branch. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to WI! We want to hear from you!
