This is a picture of the Mattawa War Memorial Cenotaph, dedicated to the fallen in two World Wars, by the Mattawa Women's Institute.
This Cenotaph can be found in the heart of Mattawa, where the Mattawa R. Joins the Ottawa R., across the Mattawa R. from the Mattawa Museum.
Inscriptions
Cenotaph reads:

"1914-1918 To perpetuate the names of our honoured dead and those who carried on in The Great War from the town of Mattawa and district. Erected by the Women's Institute
Somme Courcelette Vimy-Ridge"
